After the death of her parents, social worker Morgan Shelby inherits a mansion in Canada. Soon after moving there, she turns the massive home into a boarding house taking in an ever changing stream of bizarre guests. The strangest one, though, comes in the form of an androgynous alien that Morgan has been contracted by the government to help acclimatize to life on Earth.
