An Irishman trying to make it with his band Black Eyed Dog plays the clubs of the San Francisco nightlife scene. As hard as he works at his music, though, he cannot step out of the shadow of his gangster brother. This becomes especially clear when in need of recording space, the musician is called upon for a favor that places him firmly back into the Irish mob.
