Learn to play beginning to intermediate blues guitar with Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter Kevin Moore, or as people frequently refer to him, Keb' Mo'. In this instructional program, he teaches the basics of fingerpicking and Robert Johnson's country blues as well as his own contemporary blues tunes. Paying equal attention to both traditional and contemporary blues guitar, Moore covers the skills (such as turnarounds, and harmonized scale passages) that enable a player to produce fluid phrases. Moore also breaks out the National steel guitar in order to demonstrate the fundamentals of slide technique. In addition, Moore implements some jazzy chords and rhythmic bass style into two original numbers. Songs include: Angelina, Henry, Perpetual Blues Machine, and Delta-Style Blues. Also includes tablature. Copyright (C) Muze Inc. 2005. For personal use only. All rights reserved.
