This full-color graphic novel collects the first five issues of the BOOKS OF MAGICK comic book series. It's a reinvention of the BOOKS OF MAGIC comic book series, which chronicled the adventures of Timothy Hunter, who was 12 when he learned that he had the potential to become the greatest magician in the world. This doesn't seem to be the Tim Hunter we've previously encountered...or is it? This Tim Hunter is 19, and he lives in a London where there is neither war nor religion, people don't dream, and the idea of magic isn't even a myth. Meanwhile, in a world where magic rules and no one believes in science, a terrible three-way war rages amongst the Born, the Faerie Queene's army of demons; the Bred, the human army led by the disreputable, ruthless mage John Constantine; and the more heterogeneous forces of the Coalition, who count the witch Zatanna among their number.
