BOXING HELENA is the provocative, controversial story about a timid doctor`s obsession with a beautiful but unattainable woman and the grotesque lengths to which he goes in order to bring her into his life. Kim Basinger was originally slated to play the title role, which eventually went to Sherilyn Fenn (TWIN PEAKS`s Audrey Horne).
