In 1971, Dominick Pindle is 16 years old, and his family life is chaotic, to say the least. His father is a drunk who has impregnated a local divorcie, and his mother is also pregnant, but not by his father. When Dominick is forced to steal money from his mother, she can`t afford to pay for an abortion, and dies attempting it herself.
