The Broadway Theatre Archive presents another program in its series of televised plays from the 60s to the 80s. This historical play examines the conflicts that arose early in the political history of the United States between two founding fathers, Thomas Jefferson and Alexander Hamilton. The question revolved around how does one unite a common set of national principles among the different founders, and Hamilton, a cynical Federalist, and Jefferson, the more hopeful populist, embodied this issue.
