Set in Ireland and New York in the 1950s, this drama traces a seventy year-old feud between two Irish neighbors who are still dealing with emotions left from the Irish Civil War in the 20s. The two men were on opposing sides during the war, as well as being opponents vying for the affections of a beautiful young woman. When one of the men`s sons inadvertently opens up old wounds, a war of wills begins, one with similarities to the Northern Ireland conflict itself.
