When she arrives to pick Bunny up from nursery school, she finds that her daughter has vanished without a trace. Ann's brother corroborates this hypothesis, and soon the frantic mother is left to her own devices in the search for a daughter in whose existence only she believes. Laurence Olivier turns in a stellar performance as the police chief, and the supporting cast includes Noel Coward (THE ITALIAN JOB) and Keir Dullea (2001: A SPACE ODYSSEY).
