Two accidental acquaintances, a tentative young wife and a spry octogenarian, take off in a Volkswagen on an unexpected adventure in this warm comedy. Jessica Tandy, in her last starring role, is a woman who yearns for lost romance and Bridget Fonda is her travelling companion, who learns the importance of not surrendering her dreams.
