Albert Campion is one of the great sleuths of English literature and this brief series brought the master to life in the form of Peter Davison, best known as one of the many men who have played the title character in the DR. WHO science fiction series. Here, as Campion he disguises his adventurous side under a button-down appearance and thick glasses. Yet, he attacks each case with an inquisitive nature and an assistant (Brian Glover).
