The seminal alt-rock band is captured live in two different settings during the band`s Open Road Tour. In the Quebec City Summer Festival segment, the group performs Lay It Down , Hard to Explain , and Bea`s Song , among others. While in Live at the Temple, the band performs favorites such as I`m So Open and Anniversary Song to benefit the Toronto Hospital for Sick Children. The DVD contains lengthy interviews and a documentary detailing the Cowboy Junkie`s tour. Also included a bonus CD of previously unreleased live material.
