The debut feature from Irish filmmaker David Gleeson, COWBOYS AND ANGELS utilizes the common narrative formula of a country boy finding fortune both good and bad in the city. Shane has recently moved to Limerick and finds an apartment with openly gay Vincent, who acts as Shane's guide to the city life. But Shane's problems are many: he hates his job, he can't afford the art school he wants to attend, and he has an unrequited crush on Vincent's friend Gemma. But when he decides that a few innocent forays into crime may help solve his problems, all he discovers is that they slowly get compounded. COWBOYS AND ANGELS was nominated for four IFTA Awards (Ireland's highest film and television honor) and won one.DVD Features:Region (unknown)Keep CaseAnamorphic WidescreenDolby Digital 5.1 - EnglishAdditional Release Material: Deleted Scenes Audio CommentaryText/Photo Galleries: Director's Notes Copyright (C) Muze Inc. 2005.
