Creating Guitar Solos for Bluegrass Songs with Chris Jones (DVD)

Chris Jones addresses himself to the problem of creating not a passable guitar solo, but an exceptional one. Rather than filling in with a series of licks that fit the chords, Jones teaches his students to maintain the integrity of the melody by keeping it identifiable. Students can observe Chris as he analyzes five popular bluegrass songs, breaking each song down and explaining it step by step so that the viewer will soon be able to play his or her own impromptu, melodic solo for any song he or she encounters.
