Director John G. Avildsen`s wild and raunchy comedy stars Allen Garfield as Jake Masters, a sex-obsessed, wise-cracking, 300 lb. private eye who is hired by millionaire Jacob Dominic (David Kirk) to solve a black-mail inspired murder. Lucile Reynolds, a hooker and porn actress has been murdered, and Dominic has been framed for the ghastly deed. Although, Lucile had been blackmailing Dominic with footage of a porn video that they had taken part in, the powerful millionaire swears his innocence. With the help of Cora Merril (Madeleine Le Roux), Dominic`s paid mistress, and his horny nephew Keith (Devin Goldenberg), Jake is on the elusive case. Soon Masters and Merril are looking for clues in this hysterical sexcapade, complete with pot-smoking, whacked-out cops, raunchy hookers, and a hysterically irreverent necrophelia scene.
