Flying out of Cuba under cover of night during a storm, Charles Green has a couple of secrets, but when his plane goes down in the storm, he is forced to seek help from a passing boat captain. That captain is retired cop Rick Broca--who is working as a technical consultant on a movie, but in reality just kicking back steering the producer`s boat around the Florida Keys. When the two men are forced into a boat-to-boat fire fight with a Cuban ship, Broca begins to reconsider his wisdom in making the rescue--a position cemented in the following days as he is drawn into one deadly international incident after another....
