This made-for-television sci-fi comedy concerns a wacky scientist, Alex (Judd Nelson), whose life is saved by an unselfish dog when he almost gets hit by a car. Wanting to show his gratitude, Alex performs an operation on Rex that gives him new and exciting superpowers. But trouble arises when rivals of Alex arrive on the scene demanding the installed chip from Rex`s body.
