David McVicar mounted this glittering production featuring Mozart aficionado Sir Colin Davis conducting, and featuring the Royal Opera House orchestra. The DVD is recorded in surround sound and was recorded live at the Covent Garden. The cast features Simon Keenlyside as Papageno, Will Harman and Dorothea Roschmann as Tamino and Pamina and Diana Damrou as the Queen of the Night.
