In a small Norwegian village lives a girl named Rose who has always been different from the rest of her family. When a talking bear promises that he will grant her family health and prosperity if she comes away with him, Rose agrees to his proposal. Now living in the bear`s magical castle, Rose most solve a series of mysterious puzzles in order to discover her true purpose in life.
