When two lazy sisters refuse to do their chores, their widowed father calls on the bogeyman to carry them away to his mountain cave. Now prisoners of the bogeyman, the sisters see the errors of their ways and, when they are eventually freed, they are relieved to discover that their father and younger sister have been looking for them the entire time. Illustrated with color paintings, this story is presented in both English and Spanish.
