In this satire of media culture and celebrity, Nick Upton works for a TV station in Dallas that`s on the skids, and at first his idea for a new program, featuring a virtual Elvis as master of ceremonies, seems like a stroke of genius. But before long, Elvis is out of control, and the show`s wild popularity becomes the instrument of its undoing--and Nick`s.
