This novel, inspired by several fairy tales, spins the story of a beautiful orphan who lovingly tends to a flock of geese. Taken captive by a warring king and prince (who both want to marry her because her hair sheds gold dust and her tears turn into diamonds), the girl is rescued by her loyal flock of geese. However, once freed from her captors, the girl finds that her adventures are just beginning.
