In this holiday story set in New York City, a young boy named Miguel gets a package from his father, a truck driver who is on the road. When Miguel opens the package he is shocked to find a live turkey and a note from his dad which reads Fatten this turkey for Thanksgiving. I`ll be home to share it with you. However, as Miguel spends time with the turkey he comes to think of him more as a friend than as a potential meal. Will Miguel be able to persuade his father to spare his feathered friend`s life?
