Inspector Gadget, a cartoon cross between Maxwell Smart from GET SMART (Don Adams provides Gadget's voice) and Inspector Clouseau from Peter Sellers' PINK PANTHER movies, packs a surreal pop-up arsenal at all times, including helicopter blades and mechanical arms.
