In this charming British romantic comedy, Jack (Richard E, Grant), a recently widowed father, quickly learns that his yuppie lifestyle and workaholic ways don`t mesh too well with a new baby`s needs. Overwhelmed by the responsibilities of caring for his infant daughter, he hires Amy (Samantha Mathis), an American waitress, to be the baby`s nanny. Though she`s completely inexperienced, Amy soon turns out to be the only voice of reason in Jack`s chaotic world. The film also stars Dame Judi Dench and Sir Ian McKellen in supporting roles.
