As the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II approaches, the titular kids plot to escape their homes in the English countryside to see the event for themselves--despite their parents` protests. So they set off on a wing and a prayer, hopping trains, appropriating stray bicycles, and doing whatever it takes to get to London on time. Peter Sellers appears in a cute bit as a police inspector who assists the young pilgrims.
