Rap gave birth to Hip-hop which in turn gave birth to a global phenomenon that pervades throughout all aspects of modern culture. Starting on the streets of New York, the word quickly spread that a new sound had arrived, and the key players from the early days soon became influential names to drop. On this release they are reunited twenty years after they set the tone for all future hip-hop happenings, recorded live at New York City`s Webster Hall.
