Corruption wins again in this satirical drama about an unassuming man who becomes mayor of his small Mexican town in 1949. Juan Vargas (Damian Alcazar) is appointed mayor after the former official is assassinated. At first stepping into his role with the best of intentions, it isn`t long before his newfound power begins to affect him. Soon, Juan Vargas is running his town with the foulest of intentions, proving that when it comes to politics, evil always wins.
