LAJJA demonstrates how life is a journey, in both a physical sense but also an internal one. We follow a woman, geographically from New York City to a remote village in India; from a silent victim to an outspoken rebel; from the richest to the poorest. In life there is always the opposites, and in this case a woman learns how to face the worst of humanity that exists right alongside the good.
