This time travel story focuses on two friends--Lottie, a girl whose mother died while giving birth to her, and Lewis, a boy whose father disappeared when Lewis was 3 years old. At age 11, Lottie and Lewis find themselves transported to a magical world known as Lightland--a place created by people`s memories. However, when one of the friends has trouble returning home from Lightland, it is up to the other to enact a daring rescue.
