A season-by-season look at all the activities that go on at a seaside farm. In the winter, animals live in the barn and the farmer repairs his equipment in preparation for spring planting. When spring arrives, flowers and vegetables begin to grow. During the summer, a litter of pigs is born and the strawberries are ripe for picking. In the fall, the pumpkins are picked and the farm begins to settle in for winter. Gouache and pen-and-ink illustrations accompany the text.
