The popular Spanish cartoon THE FRUTTIES (LOS FRUITTIS) has been broadcast to children across Europe since its inception in 1989. The Frutties are a group of anthropomorphized fruits and vegetables who live in a village on a magical island. Unfortunately, the island is also home to an active volcano and a group of animals who would be more than happy to eat the Frutties for lunch, leading to many adventures. However, the Frutties are friends with Kumba, a human girl trapped on the island, who helps them through their troubles.
