A German soprano who delighted opera fans across the globe, Lotte Lehmann began her professional career at the Vienna Opera. As well as some glittering performances, most notably in Richard Strauss's ARIADNE AUF NAXOS, INTERMEZZO, and ARABELLA, Lehmann presented a number of television shows in the early 1950s.
