Set during the Spanish Civil War on the island of Lanazarote in the Atlantic, MARARIA is the story of Dr. Fermin, a young man who finds himself stuck as the island`s only doctor who soon finds himself falling in love with Mararia, a beautiful young woman, who herself is in love with a travelling Englishman. The result is an explosive love triangle with no winners.
