Following in the paranoiac tradition of Roman Polanski, Hong Kong director Julian Lee explores themes of self-identity and madness in an atmospheric horror film adapted from his own suspense novel NIGHT CORRIDOR. Kung fu actor Daniel Wu stars as Sam, a struggling artist summoned back to his hometown after the mysterious death of his twin brother. Learning that his sibling was mauled to death by a pack of wild animals, Sam is further discomfited by the secretive relationship between his alcoholic mother (pioneering female martial artist Kara Hui) and old family friend Father Chan (Eddy Ko).
