Penguin Pete explores an abandoned ship and meets a friendly mouse named Horatio. When Pete goes for a swim, nonswimmer Horatio follows him in a rowboat. When the rowboat begins to sink, Pete must try to save his friend. Illustrated with pastel watercolor paintings.
