From the time Peter first leaves Grandpapa`s garden gate open until the dreaded wolf comes out of the forest, an array of animals chase one another in a mix of play and true-to-life natural interactions. But when the wolf threatens the life of Peter`s friend the cat, Peter must summon a resourcefulness and courage that every reader will admire.
