Jasmin and a couple of friends audition for a production of PRIDE AND PREJUDICE, and get parts. Soon Jasmin, who plays Elizabeth Bennett, is caught up in a flirtation with William, who plays Wickham, but can`t stand the man who`s playing Darcy. These and other elements parallel Austen`s novel while, at the same time, forcing Jasmine to confront the sad truth that--like Elizabeth--she is not always right about everything.
