Seventh-grader Carrie Kravetz has spent her life dealing with the fact that she has Tourette`s syndrome, but her parents try to show their love and concern for her by pretending that her condition doesn`t exist. Carrie`s situation is further complicated by the arrival of Rebecca, a new girl at school, who quickly becomes her close friend, leaving her little time for Clyde, the boy who has always been there for her as she`s dealt with the realties of living with Tourette`s. Will Carrie find a way to resolve not only her friendships with Clyde and Rebecca but also her relationship with her parents and how they deal with her Tourette`s syndrome?
