The peaceful existence of Rugby, a black Labrador retriever, is disrupted by the arrival of Rosie, a yellow Labrador being specially trained to become a guide dog for the blind. At first Rugby thinks Rosie is little more than a pest, but the two dogs soon become inseparable pals. That is, until the day that Rosie`s training ends, and it is time for her to be placed with a new owner. Color illustrations accompany the text.
