The mayor of New York, Mel Rosenberg, has more than the usual number of problems on his hands when terrorists begin plaguing the city with lethal drugs slipped into pizza and coffee. The subsequent panic, political posturing, and outright corruption further complicate Mel`s life, which also encompasses his grandchildren`s private school troubles and his daughter`s Russian-gangster in-laws.
