Kind of a swing and a miss..

It is painted cream, MOT white, which according to all references I have, is wrong. It is the R-2 Gee Bee from 1931, but has v-8 style chrome exhaust on the sides of the cowl, even though it is a radial engine design. It has the stock Steelcraft-style windshield which looks so wrong. I t is also a $100 more than the same basic Chinese-made plane, the only difference being the radial engine cowling, wheel pants, and decoration. With a little more effort, it could have been really right!
