This series of poems addresses the other child prodigy of 18th-century Vienna--Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart`s sister Maria Anna, affectionately nicknamed Nannerl. Leopold Mozart, the children`s father, put all his money behind Wolfgang when Nannerl turned 18, knowing that a male was more likely to succeed. In a variety of forms, these poems are spoken from several points of view, including Wolfgang`s, their father`s, and Nannerl`s own.
