The Second Brain

The second brain refers to the human digestive system and its nerve cells. Drawing from his 30 years of pioneering research, the author asserts that there is a strong connection between both this second brain and the traditional one. When one`s brains are in disagreement, he says, one may suffer from cramps, constipation, diarrhea, and other ailments. His theory pinpoints the causes of many gastrointestinal problems and vindicates those plagued with stomach maladies thought to be psychosomatic.
