The world of a young boy growing up in Israel is the background for this experimental novel--a series of short chapters. We see him as a boy, then as a man, as he recalls the sometimes realistic and vivid, sometimes lyrically surreal events of his life and the people around him--his parents, his grandfather, his schoolmates, and the beautiful Monica.
