This military/corporate thriller concerns the discovery of an undeveloped oil lake bigger than Saudi Arabia. The problem, from the point of view of the novel`s American protagonists, is that the lake lies beneath Cuba`s territorial waters. Predatory, vixenish oil executive L.J. Ellis wants to get her hands on the Cuban oil concession, while Air Force Lieutenant Colonel Michael Stuart, an expert on wartime oil transport, gets tangled up in the intrigue.
