Too Many Tamales

While helping her parents prepare tamales for a Christmas celebration, Maria notices her mother taking off her diamond ring. Unable to resist temptation, Maria slips the ring on her finger and continues with her work. It is only after the tamales are cooked and ready to be served that she realizes that she has lost the ring--probably in one of the tamales. Will Maria and her cousins be able to find the ring? Illustrated with oil paintings.
