A picture-book retelling of a Chinese folktale. When Mr. Haktak finds a mysterious brass pot which doubles anything one puts in it, he and his wife think all their problems are solved. From now on they will always have enough money and enough food. However, trouble begins when Mrs. Haktak accidentally falls into the pot. Will the Haktaks find a way to be happy with two of everything--even if that means two of themselves? Acrylic and gouache illustrations accompany the text.
