When Wallflowers Die

Bob Maitland, a gubernatorial candidate, retains PI Phoebe Siegal to investigate the death of his heiress wife some 27 years earlier in order to clear his name for public record. After dealing with him, Siegal decides that Bob isn`t to her liking, but the case of Ellen Maitland, found tarted-up and battered to death in a sleazy motel, piques her interest.
