Born in a Hungarian village before World War II, Bruck was relocated with her family to a ghetto and eventually sent on to Auschwitz. When she was liberated as a 13-year-old orphan she embarked on an emotional struggle to find acceptance and peace which eventually led her to Israel, where she further experienced the profound isolation and loneliness characteristic of her whole life. This memoir tells her moving story. Copyright (C) Muze Inc. 2005. For personal use only. All rights reserved.
